What happned to the pyro trenchcoat? :cry:

Pyro is my favourite, but that model looks like a friggen Fireman, NOT a pyro...

I actually just noticed that the pyro skin in ff at the moment is outdated D:
I just opened the skin again today inspired to improve it after the feedback and noticed i did alot of detailing and things earlyer but didnt put the updated one in FF :) Ill show off the improved one when im done with it in a dev journal or the next update!

As for the way the model itself looks; It was remodeled to fit the look of our other models better as they differed alot since the pyro was made before dr_nick made some awesome concepts for the pyro. We dont want to go for the post apocalyptic teknoish direction that the old pyro was in :P

Keep the direction then. Just lose the flashlight and give him proper pants :o

The trepids are just Kick ass, best looking cz2, The way the cap points look like. This will improver game played as well since, I notice that once the cap point is capture the light will change to the team that cap. The light is visible through the whole map. That's so creative.. :D The map architecture is so creative and original and it is perfectly texture. I don't get why people bitch about being too dark, imo it looks perfect. Trepids you guys have a new fan in your hands.

Openfire looks good but weirds me out a bit. I guess it's just a thing of getting use to as I could see that it's going to be a day map.

What Can I say about Well? It looks bad ass. I could see gameplay is going to be very different which is good. Love the green water and the team logos on the base. :D

RailGun looks perfect, I could tell shaders are going to be use here ;)
Model and skin look good as always Decs and FLCL(The Anime show kicks ass as well) Oh and can someone tell me what it says in the fine print?

Spy and HWguy concepts are just speechless, can't wait to see all of the concepts.

As for the Tranq, are we going to see the spy put a tranquilizer each time in the reload animation b/c that would kick ass. Skin looks great and model looks great as well. I love how it looks like a regular tranq but with a futuristic look. Decs fine print? :D

Can't say much about Pyro since we are going to see a more up to date skin from Decs :D

I dont get the trenchcoat stuff, why would a man that goes around torching things wear a trenchcoat?

I wouldnt want alot of loose fabric around me if i used a weapon that spewed flames.

To keep it short, no you wont see a trenchcoat on the pyro.

Actually the medic doesn't really have a realistic body shape, hes all thick.

From listening to metal and know alot of "hardcore metal/rock" people, there is nothing that is as frowned upon by true fans and musicians within the community as trench coats haha. It looks ridiclious.

I love the update, as far as trenchcoats go I think it fits the pyro just for badass looks. Kind of like gambit from X-Men, it might not apeal to you decs, but im telling you it will to a crap load of others.

It doesnt apeal to me at all, but i wasnt the one that made the decision to drop the trenchcoat, i never participated in the discussion either.

So to put it the other way around, what about the loads of others that dont wont the trenchcoat?
