So i saw this on Google and i wanted to ask
Do i need to have Team Fortress 2 In order TO play Fortress Forever

IF i dont need Team Fortress 2 I would be glad to download and play it but i cant seem to find the download link T_T

You don't need TF2, all you need is the Source SDK Base which you get with any source game.

The download link is on the front page menu on the left. www.fortress-forever.com

Install 2.2 full then 2.3 update. Be sure to check your tools menu and that you have sdk base installed.

Do you have steam? go to tools menu and it should be listed there.

You need a leagle version of any steam game that comes with sdk base.

If you don't have a legal version sorry your wasting your time. HL2 is about 5.00 US dollars.

HL2:DM is $5. It is the cheapest Source game you can buy that includes the Source SDK, which is basically the engine Fortress Forever was built in. That is why it's required. So if you have Steam, and you don't already have a source game installed, buy it if you wish, then come back and download Fortress Forever.

counterstrike 1.6 will not give you source sdk. You would need counter-strike source.

Any half-life2 game basically.

Given you are downloading a legal version it will work.
