For some reason that smacks of the quote from the Director (or something like that) of the US Patent Office in the 19th century who said that "Everything that can be invented has been invented."

I guess every generation needs it's Neville Chamberlain...

Personally I think we're going to see an ongoing focus on naturally blending technology into everyday things. All part of that whole "user friendly" thing.

Laptops are getting better and better while staying small.
