Nine million people pay a monthly subscription to play World of Warcraft.
I wonder how many of them are Americans?

Korean friend of A drunken retard told us that some 70% of South Korean families own at least two Blizzard games.

Actually, Blizzard themselves aren't merging; it's Vivendi Universal Games, owners of Blizzard and a subsidiary of Vivendi Universal. Blizzard will still be Blizzard Entertainment; but will now be a subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, rather than Vivendi Universal Games.

Looks like the next MMORPG is going to be World of Guitar Hero.

Are some of you guys having a problem with this? Personally Activision's always had a soft spot in my heart due to some classics it's turned out. Pitfall...Interstate 76...etc. And Blizzard....while I don't have much use for their new stuff Diablo, D2, WC2 and SC alone allow it a berth next to Activision...Now if it had been EA...that would be a different discussion.

+1 Activision has put out some pretty good games in the past, I don't see much of a problem... what are people complaining about?

Unless we get a hybrid mix of CoD and WoW. Now that would be fun.

Speaking of Blizzard: www.starcraft2.com

They updated since the last time I was there... that was a few weeks ago though so I'm sure most of you have seen it. Check it out if you haven't.
