ETF help

OK...never played before...
I downloaded ET...and it's fine. I can join pretty much all of the servers running out there.
however, every ETF server I have tried to join give me a compatability error.
I am running 1.2

Are all the ETF servers on an older version?
am I missing a patch?

uh...nope.
I was actually hoping that with the pure number of TF players we have on here...that someone could help me out.

I looked over there...but registering to ask one question seemed like a pain in the asscakes.
especially when I was already registered on here.

I think there is a new ET base version upgrade. 2.60 or something?

Most servers still use 1.2, if you installed 2.60 you might want to downgrade back to 1.2 until the server admins upgrade

Yeah alot of people have been having problems after installing the new 2.6 et patch, despite the fact that many people say they've updated their servers, many people are saying they cant find a single server in the server browser, myself included. I would just stick with the 1.02 et patch for now. This isnt to be confused with the 1.2 etf patch that you should be using currently.
